For auto enthusiasts and collectors, Automania will have over 150 vendor spaces showcasing parts, literature, services, products, memorabilia, accessories, tools, collectibles, and much more. The event will be held Friday through Sunday, January 15th through the 17th. For more information check online and click here

2021 Amelia Island Concours

March 4th - 7th
We recently learned that the Greenwich Concours was moved from the first weekend in June to late October 2021! As I write, the Amelia Island Concours is still a go for early March 2021! Now in its third decade, the The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is among the top automotive events in the world. Held the first full weekend in March, "The Amelia" draws more than 300 rare vehicles from collections around the world to The Golf Club of Amelia Island at Summer Beach and The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. At this time, plans are being made to carry on with the original dates of March 4th through the 7th while following strict CDC Covid 19 Guidelines. We have attended this world-class event for the last 15 years, often showing our client's cars or just to enjoy the Amelia experience. This year, Lyn St. James is the Honoree and Hispano-Suiza is one of the featured Marques! If you have yet to attend, Amelia Island is a celebration of the automobile like none other. This is one for your bucket list!

2021 AACA Winter Meeting

Philadelphia, PA
NEW DATE April 15 -16th!
The AACA has held their Annual Winter Meeting in February at the Sheraton Hotel in Philadelphia for many years and they are currently making plans to continue this tradition! With careful planning to comply with Covid 19 guidelines, they are hoping to hold their 85th Annual Meeting NOW PUSHED BACK TO 4/15 - 4/16.
Stay tuned here!

2021 Cars and Motorcycles of England

June 5th or August 7th?
Remember these days? Volunteers from the Delaware Valley Jaguar Club and the Delaware Valley Triumph Club had our first CMOE planning meet via Zoom and we voted to proceed with caution as we hope that the Covid-19 numbers will improve this spring.  At this time, Hope Lodge is closed until mid - April so we voted to plan for the June 5th date.  If we cannot go ahead with the June date, we have tentatively set aside Saturday August 7th as a back up date. Fingers crossed that we can have a show this year!  For now we must Carry On and Keep Calm....Stay healthy and stay tuned here for more details as they become available.

2021 Philadelphia Auto Show

THIS JUST IN...NEW DATE JUNE 19TH - 27TH
We here at Ragtops & Roadsters and Pollock Auto Restoration have supported the AACA Exhibit at the Philadelphia Auto Show for many years. We work hard to bring in a fresh display of vintage AACA quality vintage automobiles to raise awareness of the AACA and for the motoring public to enjoy. This year the Philadelphia Auto Show was initially delayed until March and just in the last several weeks we understand from a very reliable source, that the date now moved to June. Stay tuned their website for more updates as they become available. We will be back!

British Car Calendar of Events

WE WERE STARTING TO SEE THE 2021 CALENDAR IMPROVE.  THE PHILADELPHIA AUTO SHOW HAD BEEN PUSHED BACK FROM THE FIRST RESCHEDULE DATE IN EARLY MARCH, THEN INTO JUNE. THE EVENTS THAT HAVE SURVIVED THROUGH THE PANDEMIC ARE DRIVING EVENTS THAT CAN HOLD TO A SMALL NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS WHILE OBSERVING PHYSICAL DISTANCING. MOST HOLIDAY PARTIES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED, GOING VIRTUAL OR POSTPONED TO LATER IN 2021. WE STILL RECOMMEND THAT YOU DOUBLE CHECK ALL CALENDAR LISTINGS TO CONFIRM, BEFORE HEADING OUT TO ANY EVENT BECAUSE EVENT SCHEDULING CHANGES DAILY! NOW THAT THE VACCINES ARE ON THEIR WAY WE SINCERLY HOPE THAT 2021 WILL BE THE YEAR THAT MANY EVENTS RETURN!

                                     KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON!

Many of the local British Car Clubs listed below are conducting their monthly meetings via Zoom. Check their website or Facebook Page for more information.

Motorcars Delivered... Ready for Winter Driving!

by: Dave Hutchison

This 1963 Daimler Dart SP 250 came in after the owner got as far as he could with the restoration, We rebuilt the carbs, made it run, sorted through the brakes and suspension and installed the windscreen, We made the classic grill fit the already painted aperture, had it re-chromed and fit it to the car for that classic SP 250 smile, only to matched by our happy client's smile!
This original owner of this 1954 Morgan +4 was reunited with his car after we rebuilt the carbs and installed a new battery.. He was overjoyed the see the car come home!  I have had the pleasure of driving this car and with the recent work it hasn't run so strong in the last 20 years! Make him an offer before he falls in love again! See below

Before We Put 'em Away Run

Sunday 11/22      We Kept Calm and Carried On...

On a cloudy but dry day several dozen Motorcar Enthusiasts came to our shop for coffee, tea and our famous scones. Thank you EVERYONE who complied with CDC Guidelines! We gave shop tours and many witnessed the check presentation of $66,995 from the 2020 America’s British Reliability Run for the kids at Shriners Hospital for Children. Another new record amount!  Then we got in our cars, the masks came off, and we hit the road at 10:30 AM.  We ran the twisty open rural roads of Bucks and Montgomery Counties taking the long way to Pollock Auto Restoration to join their Open House already in progress.
The caravan of four Ford Model As left five minutes before our last group of 15 sportscars headed out. Halfway out we caught up to them.  I am sure these 90-year old cars and their drivers were running as quick as they could given their age.  It makes you appreciate how far automotive technology has advanced over the years!

Looking For a New Garage

We have recently listed on our website more of our client's British cars looking for new homes. Click on our For Sale page to see current listings. These motorcars don't come along all that often! Both of these Morgans are original owner cars that have been well cared for over the years and will look great in your garage!

1954 MORGAN +4

This is a one owner, "A-Title" well cared for example of a Morgan +4 that was purchased by the current owner in Paris and driven on holiday through Europe! It was restored back in the 90s and was just freshened, with a new battery, the carbs were rebuilt and it now runs very strong, drives, brakes well and it is a turn-key classic British sportscar ready for driving!. This 'Moggy' deserves to fall-in-love with a new mate and carry on! Click here to see the asking price and more picture of this fabulous one owner 1954 Morgan +4. contact Dave@ragtops.com.

2005 MORGAN ROADSTER

Built in November 2005, the odometer shows only 6000 miles and this car is one of 82 Morgan Roadsters that were imported into the US that year. The 3.0 liter V6 Duratec engine runs very strong, the gearbox operation is smooth and brakes are very good. The aluminum body is finished in Connaught Green, a standard factory colour fitted with Yarwood biscuit leather upholstery. Included is a fawn mohair hood, tonneau and suede side curtains. Black carpets piped with biscuit leather, finished with black wing beading. Air bags, air conditioning, LeMans shift knob, door pockets and luggage carrier and more. This A-title motorcar looks and drives like a new car and has been meticulously maintained since new. Recent annual service completed at Ragtops & Roadsters and all maintenance records are available for your inspection. Click here to see more pictures and contact Dave@ragtops.com

We are here to help out with winter and spring projects. Now is the time to take care of the deferred maintenance, restoration, preservation, and upgrade needs that are on your car's 'To Do' list!
