If you’re like us, you want to get one last good fall drive in before you put your classic away for the winter. This event is exactly that – an opportunity to hit the road one last time before the show flies.
This year’s Before We Put ‘em Away Run will once again take place on its customary day, the final Sunday before Thanksgiving, which falls on November 20th. The drive will both originate and end at Ragtops & Roadsters’ Perkasie workshop. A scenic drive of approximately 35 miles will take drivers and their passengers through the bucolic Bucks County countryside.
We’ll open our doors at 9 am and serve a continental breakfast before the drive begins. The first car will be waved off at 10:00 with the rest of the field departing at 1-minute intervals. A light lunch will await participants on their return to the shop following the drive.
Participation is open to classic vehicles 25 years old or older as well as ‘future classic’ sports cars. There is no fee to participate but pre-registration is required and is limited to 40 vehicles. The event will run rain or shine.

The Pennsylvania-based America’s British Reliability Run is scheduled to run from October 21st through October 23rd, 2022. The event, which raises money to benefit Shriners Hospital for Childern, will return to its three-day format this year, but with a new twist – a cloverleaf-style run from the host hotel. The event will make several daily loops out and back, returning each night to the comfort of the Courtyard by Marriott in Gettysburg, PA.
We have scheduled a private tour of the Rolls-Royce Foundation in Mechanicsburg, PA, as well as a visit to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in York Springs, PA. We have also planned a scenic loop south to visit Summit Point Motorsports Park in nearby Summit Point, WV, where we’ll be get time on both the Jefferson and Shenandoah circuits for some parade laps when the track goes cold at lunchtime. For history buffs there will also be a guided tour through the historic battlefields surrounding Gettysburg.
Ragtops & Roadsters is proud to continue to sponsor this worthy event and will have British car mechanics on hand to assist if needed, following everyone with our E-Type Sprinter Van and an extra car in our enclosed trailer. To date we have left no one behind, but Hagerty’s Roadside Assistance will be there if needed. The America’s British Reliability Run America’s British Reliability Run is now open for registration. Limited space is available. We hope that you can join us to again benefit the kids at Shriners Hospital for Children Wheels for Love!
