Car Show Judging Seminar

Car Show Judging Seminar

Join us on Saturday, April 2, 2022 for an informative tech session to learn about what goes into judging vintage vehicles at various types of shows and concours d’elegance events. We’ve assembled a panel of expert judges to discuss what they look for in a winner, how to prepare a car for judging, and the proper way to present a vehicle.

The discussion will focus heavily on British and European marques, but the lessons should apply to judged events across a variety of clubs and organizations. The presentation will examine the judging process at local car shows, marque-specific club events, and major national events like AACA and CCCA. Even owners who don’t show their vehicle in judged events can gain some insights on how keep their classic vehicle in top condition.

Our presenters include Tim McNair, a professional detailer and concours judge at such events as Radnor Hunt and the Amelia; Tony Gray, a certified judge with the ACAA; and Mike Nitroy, chief judge for the Delaware Valley Triumph Club.

A light breakfast will be served on site, courtesy of Hagerty Insurance. Space is limited to 40 attendees. Please RSVP to Dave Hutchison at Dave@ragtops.com to reserve your spot.
