Before We Put ‘em Away Run 2022

Before We Put ‘em Away Run 2022

If you’re like us, you want to get one last good fall drive in before you put your classic away for the winter. This event is exactly that – an opportunity to hit the road one last time before the show flies.

This year’s Before We Put ‘em Away Run will once again take place on its customary day, the final Sunday before Thanksgiving, which falls on November 20th. The drive will both originate and end at Ragtops & Roadsters’ Perkasie workshop. A scenic drive of approximately 35 miles will take drivers and their passengers through the bucolic Bucks County countryside.

We’ll open our doors at 9 am and serve a continental breakfast before the drive begins. The first car will be waved off at 10:00 with the rest of the field departing at 1-minute intervals. A light lunch will await participants on their return to the shop following the drive.

Participation is open to classic vehicles 25 years old or older as well as ‘future classic’ sports cars. There is no fee to participate but pre-registration is required and is limited to 40 vehicles. The event will run rain or shine.

Pottstown Fall Open House

Pottstown Fall Open House

Join Ragtops & Roadsters on Saturday, November 5th, as we open up our Pottstown shop for our annual Fall Open House. From 9 am to 2 pm, you’re invited to tour our 26,000 square foot Pollock Works restoration facility (formerly Pollock Auto Restoration), talk with our craftsmen, and check out some of the great cars we’re working on.

The 100-year-old, two-story brick industrial building once housed a silk mill, a furniture factory and a car museum, but today is dedicated to classic vehicle restoration. At ground level we perform metal fabrication and mechanical repairs. The upper level, with its antique wood floors, is home to our body shop, paint booth, and upholstery shop.

Whether you’ve ever wondered what goes into a full vehicle restoration or just want to see cars going through various stages of the process, you won’t want to miss out on this event.

There is no cost to attend. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. On site parking is extremely limited, but free street parking is available on Franklin Street and at Frankie and Johnnies’s restaurant at the corner of Franklin and Industrial Blvd.
